Respecting the time it takes to grow merino and create each unique PERRIAM piece, Christina developed PERRIAM to celebrate the beauty amongst the busyness of life and encapsulate the comforting luxury inherent in the spirit of the high country.

 

Growing up on the 12,000ha world-leading merino sheep farm Bendigo Station, Christina discovered the benefits of fine merino wool at a young age. Bendigo Station is recognised as being one of the pioneering stations of New Zealand’s merino industry, thanks to the efforts of her father John and late mother Heather.

Christina inherited the same pioneering energy and determination of her parents and soon developed an extraordinary talent for fashion. When she graduated as a fashion designer, it was a natural step for her to create luxury, fashion-forward merino clothing and homewares for women, children and babies while continuing the family legacy of bringing merino wool to the world.

 

Today, the PERRIAM luxury lifestyle fashion brand encompasses NZ-made merino wool clothing, knitwear and homewares in the labels PERRIAM Woman, Little PERRIAM, and PERRIAM Home. We find inspiration in the enchanting beauty of our landscape and design our collections from our studio in Wanaka, keeping our philosophy to “luxuriate in life” at heart.
