I was making these amazing peanut butter bliss balls over the weekend, which are a firm favourite in our household, and I thought that they were just to damn good not to share with our followers. I always say to my husband when I'm eating them that they are as good as a Ferrero Rocher - he thinks that maybe taking it a bit far but nethertheless they are yum, yum, yum.
At the start of this year I decided that it was time to start taking care of my body from the inside out. I embarked on a diet that was free of gluten, dairy, refined sugar, caffeine and alcohol. I know right, that's a lot to cut out, but it hasn't actually been that bad, which has surprised me. I now can't imagine going back to the lifestyle I was living. I have a clearer head, sleep like a baby, have a lot more energy and have slowed my life down to appreciate things other than work. I suddenly feel the fog has lifted and my main focus is to nourish my body with food, which has been transformational.
Along my journey I have followed some amazing people doing amazing things in the whole food world and have rekindled my love for baking and cooking.
So I want to share with you some of the yummy recipes I use as I go along on my journey.
